Yes I realise most of my posts mention Christmas (even in June), I promise to sort that out soon but in the meantime I wanted to share some of my latest designs which made me want to put up my tree and drink egg nog!

Lonely Arctic fox?
Ok so this one has Christmassy aspects too! I was playing around with some character designs (possibly my favourite thing ever?) and developed this lonely looking Arctic fox, I didn't intend to make him look lonely but one of my fellow Surface Pattern course chums suggested he could be looking for some friends at Christmas which I thought was a lovely idea for a book, maybe one day....
Christmas fun in June
To be honest, Christmas is never very far from my mind (yes even in June!), so it seemed like the perfect time to design some reindeer-themed prints

Check Patterns
The latest task on the The Art and Business of Surface Pattern Design (Module 1) course was to design a check pattern, I had loads of fun with this and thought I'd see what my design would look like on a shopping bag.
My illustration featured in MOYO!
Something magical happened this month and my entry appeared in the Comic Characters feature of MOYO magazine (issue 4)! To say I was chuffed to ribbons would be a massive understatement.
